Kent is place where students can grow and learn in a safe, welcoming and constructive environment. classes are small and the teachers are wonderful and very easily accessible. The relationships that are made with the teachers go beyond the classroom but really provide great life long mentors. The school provided me with a great foundation for my liberal arts college

For the interview, dress conservatively. Try to be very clean and put together. Also, I was a tour guide for two years and at the end of every tour, we were asked to evaluate the candidate so if you think the tour is not apart of the process, you are very wrong. Ask questions and be interested. Also, tip for the parents: the kids speak on the tour. Do not ask their questions for them...
Most younger siblings have an easy time in the admissions process. I can only think of one case of a younger sibling not being admitted. About half of the students who entered with me had come from public schools. Kent has the greatest sense of community. Everyone is very engaged in the culture of the school. There is really a family feel on campus and that continues even after graduation. If any Kent alumni run into each other whether it is a recent grad or someone that graduated in the 1960s they feel connected because of all the lasting traditions. The support system at Kent is unmatched. All the faculty love their job and their students and are always available to help. Also the headmaster, Father Schell is a wonderful community leader who is....
