Cheshire Academy has some teachers that will prepare you very well for the rigor of college academics. The problem is that there are just a few that will prepare you. It is ridiculously easy to get away with doing minimal work and receiving great grades with most teachers. That being said though, there are a lot of AP and IB courses that can be taken advantage of, but those classes do not replicate the amount of work received in college. The classes are all small in size so getting on a personal level with the teacher is something many students take advantage of.

For the interview, dress conservatively. Try to be very clean and put together. Also, I was a tour guide for two years and at the end of every tour, we were asked to evaluate the candidate so if you think the tour is not apart of the process, you are very wrong. This is the worst part of Cheshire Academy. The new administration DOES NOT put student satisfaction at the top of their list. The new headmaster is rarely seen and the students would still live an explanation of why the previous headmaster was fired as everyone seemed to love him. The students have very little freedom in the dorms and simply put, dorm life is not enjoyable.
